#91 Snakes
This post will contain much more yapping than pixels... because at some point I forgot to run my recording script...
I'm just spectacular like that, I know.
Why almost 2 weeks since the last one? HEAT. It was impossible to sit on the PC. Even after it ended, I didn't want to rush to make another post. I feel like most of the last ones are rushed, I feel like I have an hour to do ANYTHING BECAUSE I HAVE TO BECAUSE I HAVE TO POST. In the end I choose something simple, and even on that I can't do my best.
The last 3 days I had an opportunity to try different working routines. I was sitting, chilling all day alone, blasting metal and slowly working on pixels. And I have to say IT WAS SO MUCH FUN. Like seriously, I didn't have that much joy pixeling for a long time.
I don't really know what to do with this. I rarely have whole days (especially alone) when I can just do what I love.
Also, all 3 upcoming posts (this included) will be all Sheep because a certain someone would not stop digging out my old pixels and using them, causing me immense pain. Hopefully one day I will be able to make wonderful pixels for people to use, one day.
Enough yapping. This will definitely be the worst of the three, so there isn't too much to learn from this anyway, thankfully.

I'm testing kind of an “in-between” model, doing some parts and then sketching the rest. Just sketch often looks so ugly that I can't force myself to continue. I know, I know it's not the correct way, and I understand why: it bites me in the ass later when the composition is wrong, but it's better than no pixel at all.

The only valuable lesson from this pixel: your brain is really conscious about the shape of an eye (even pixel ones). Just a small change, like above, can completely shift the tone.

I wanted to show here that it's ok to change your sketches too. It's never too late to fix something on a pixel art... unless you are lazy like me.

This looks weird, but that's because I discovered how to change canvas size! It's so useful. I often make things far too small or too large and need to transfer whole pixel onto a bigger canvas. And this whole time I could have just changed it in the settings (sprite -> canvas size, btw). My recording script doesn't seem like it, tho. I'll find some solution for the next post.

Not too big of a skip. Just filling and shading, not even a good one.
Anyway, thank you for reading (and patience. I feel like you need a lot of patience with me). To be honest, the amount of support I get from every place I share my pixels on is insane. I can't believe soon it will be the two-year anniversary of Citrus existing!
See you on the next Sheep!
