#58 Make it look
Today, we are proud.
I didn't feel like pixeling at all. I was absolutely sure this is going to be a catastrophe. But I sat down anyway and did what I could.
And she turned out really nicely if I can say.
I hope you don't struggle as much as I do, the chance that you are as lazy as me are really slim, but I hope this will help you a little.
The whole art is a really big thing, a lot of elements, and every single can come out wrong.
It's often intimidating, makes me feel like I can't even start.
What kinda works for me is thinking only about one small part at the time. Chopping the giant, impossible project into little doable parts.

Like almost every piece, I started with the rough texture, just to have some canvas to place things onto.

But, here's my first small element, one eye. I can make one eye, right? It's that hard.

By the way, I feel like, I'm getting more comfortable with Ides color pallet. Especially the yellow comes much easier.

One eye always looks weird. I think we got programmed to expect more. Don't worry, it will look much better after adding another one.

I got used to drawing the upper part first to kinda mark the boundaries of the eyeball. I have no idea if this habit is correct, but helps me a lot.

Together they look nice and really helps with setting the perspective. One smaller than the other and slightly going onto hair, makes all the difference.

We are getting somewhere.

This hair making method is much simpler, than the one I'm used to. Use thicker lines to show the hairstyle, and minimal shading.

The hair are the second most important things when it comes to the perspective (don't quote me on that, I have no idea what am I doing, you remember?). Fortunately, it's much easier to shape than the face.

Right shapes, minimal shading at the ends. The shade on the top of the face is crucial, don't ask me why, but it saves the pixel from looking flat.

A little haircut and my favorite colorful strips, and she is ready!
See? Step by step and we can topple the empires!
Also, as a side note. After OVER A YEAR, I noticed that for the entire time there was a black bar at the bottom of the recordings... my stupid is endless...
Anyways, thanks for reading. It was a really fun art and a great experience. Remember, don't get overwhelmed, you can do it! In your own pace, your own way, but surely you can!
