#72 Can you see me

This break was uncalled for. First I got sick and spent the whole weekend in bed, ok that happens. But later I got super anxious about what I'm supposed to pixel. In the end, even my recording script broke...

I wanted to Ide, but every time I started, something was awfully odd. I felt empty, like there is nothing in me that I want to show. Even when I tried, the tries were weak, I couldn't put my whole heart into them. The pressure to pixel bigger and better was crushing me.

So here we are, in a typical Citrus fashion: when everything wants me to go bigger, I go even smaller. I haven't touched a 32x32 canvas in a while. Maybe I should start doing those smaller pixels again. It's a good imagination exercise (or at least I think so...) and does not take too much time.

In the end, it helped.

You don't have to be bigger and better every day. The line of life is full of jaggies, sometimes a little up, sometimes down. But in the longer run, you are getting better, trust me.

There won't be too much to learn from this one. If you wonder, "Why the dot in the upper left corner?" - I also have no idea. Without it, my pixel was jumping up all the time without any apparent reason.

Outline->colors, the usual stuff.

The different-sized eyes are always a reliable way to show the angle. Works even on tiny canvases like this.

I'm yet to make a happy Ide. I don't know, this half-mad face suits her.

Also, I promised her some new hairstyles. I guess I have to start searching...

It's supposed to be a zip-up hoodie with a white shirt beneath, by the way. My skills in making clothes haven't really improved, huh?

I always love doing Ides hair markings. I have no clue from where I got the idea, but I enjoy jumping with the lively, vibrant colors all over her hair.

So that's it for today. Not much, but always a step.

Be proud of every try, the fact that you tried is the most important.

See you next time, bayaa!
