#71 Congratulations, You're in a Void!
This post will be a little weird... the script I use to capture the pixeling process broke...
So instead of a step-by-step, I will make it a more general (and much shorter) one.
A bit of mandatory useless yapping. I tried to incorporate lessons from the course. I tried to avoid repeating patterns, use more colors, and place the darker/lighter pixels to smooth out the lines. I still don't feel this pixel is perfect, but I knew what I should search for.
The hair was made by using the transparency or opacity bar under the color palette. I think changing the shade of every pixel "covered" with hair would give much better results, but the time it would take...
Overall, it was incredibly fun. I'm really starting to pay more attention to colors and how they can make the pixel look smooth. My usual "random spots" is slowly getting replaced with careful study.
If I had to get point one lesson from this pixel, is to actively mess with the color changing. The shades are incredibly limiting. At first it might be scary and clashing, but the more you add, the less they stand out, as well as make the pixel more clear and interesting to look at.
That's all, see you soon!
