#47 Yourself

I have to solidarily warn you. This isn't art focused post, next one is going to be I promise.

If you ask me: "Citrus, what the hell is this"... I have to admit that your guess is as good as mine.

I often feel like I'm not experimenting enough, that I should have more freedom in my pixels. Well, this is my freedom manifested, some kind of yellow spiritual hawk.

I think expressing yourself is such an overused topic. It became just a marketing slop: be unique, show yourself, and do that by buying the most popular brand of shoes that everyone else has. "Yourself" became just another type of person. Which is so stupid. Everyone is totally and absolutely unique, putting "yourself" as a category is a disgrace to everyone.

Yourself is a journey, every day you wake up a different person. Whatever you do, changes you. It's scary... but also amazing. Thanks to that, it's never too late to be Yourself. Real one, not just getting a badge from someone else.

Please try, even if you think that you don't have time or strength. One day of really being Yourself brings more joy that fitting into the definition for an entire life.

My pixels, website, every try, is really me. And I feel it, it really gives you a purpose. Even tho I was never fitting into this "art" category.

I don't have to, you don't have to! It's only Yourself, nobody-else's measurements don't apply.

It's not some kind of destiny. Permanent life path. Tomorrow, my yourself might be different. But it still will be mine and only mine.
