# 57 Let it
This one looks so silly that I'm not even sad, that it looks so terrible.
The scuff is strong here. First, it was based on a sketch I made on my tablet. Good news: I remembered to record it! Bad news: the video got corrupted, and it shows basically nothing... of to a great start.
So the "art" part of this post is going to be even more lackluster than usual.
Quick Citrus disclaimer: recently I have an opportunity to watch someone learn something new. It's a weirdly fun experience and quite enjoyable.
I'm sharing it with you because when I learn, I always feel like people will get mad at me for trying, like I should already be good or never start.
But trying new things is really cool! Watching someone grow and learn is fun and brings a lot of joy. So don't be afraid to learn and to share it!
Also, 90% of the times you are much better than you think you are, your tries are not as awful as you think.

This is the first screen that I can show. The whole sketching thing really helps in some places, but it don't solve problems that come with an awful sketch. I guess it's something you start to see with an experience. For example, here, the head is waaay too long. I only realized that after I finished making the eyes...

I have never had high hopes for this one. Not every try has to be successful, sometimes you just do the best 4/10 (more like 2/20 in my case) you can and leave. And that's ok. That's what trying is all about.

Tried to add some cute little detail with the plus and minus in the eyes, but I don't they are visible enough + the piece it's too great anyway. Maybe I will use it in a different art?

Not the best one I made, but it took me no time, so I count that as a win!

Working with yellow is much harder. The "dark yellow" looks weird for me, like from a totally different pallet.

Nothing usual, but solid for me. I was able to make them quickly and efficiently, hope this will leave me more to work on other things... like everything else that is lacking.

Also, if you wonder why the shape of the head is the way it is: it was supposed to be a little tilted. No matter how many times I try, all of my characters just stare right into your soul. The part of the creator is in his every art I guess.

At that point, I wasn't even bothered with making the hair properly. That's the beauty of Ide, I can try as hard or as little as my current strength allows.
Thank you for reading. I have to admit, I'm happy for this post. Because it was a flop. But I tried, and will try again. Eventually I will get it.
And you will too! I believe in you and see you next time!
