#52 Something ever happens

Heyoooo, happy post here! I feel like we didn't have one like this in a long time. So, I can't believe it, but we are really here. I reached my goal, I redeemed myself, I became better... maybe my goal wasn't very hard to reach, my mistake trivial, and I'm still awful, but we take those.
So, is this the time to end all of this?
Ha, stupid idea! We just need a new goal!
To be honest, I have something on mind for some time. Something stupid... irresponsible... and most likely impossible. But, starting the previous one, I thought that I won't ever be able to complete it, so I feel like going for something less extravagant would be a downgrade, hehe.
Now, I can make something, I want to obviously become better. But my main new goal is to help or enable something! Nothing specific, but I want to put my dirty little hands into some project, no matter how small or big (most likely small, I'm crazy but not THAT crazy!).
Don't get me wrong, I still think my pixels are terrible, and I have to learn a lot, if I really want to work with someone else. But now I know I can learn, I really can become better!
There is no time limit, I will work as long as it takes.
And You! Yes, You! You reach whatever you imagine! Just look at this long journey, behind us! We got so far, so what could stop us from continuing?

This is just a simple little chibi, I wanted to try myself on a more compacted form.

It always starts the same, face, hair and some details.

Lesson: If you want to make something look cuter, make the parts of the face closer together (but not too close!)

I knew that two main points of this piece will be the head and the pyum (do you recognize this same from somewhere, hmmmmm???), so I started with both of them.

Now we just have to fill the empty space.

I always make the hair too big, but that's because it's easier to cut the excess than wonder how to get the perfect shape the first time.

The head is, more or less, ready. When you draw in such low resolution (this one is 64x64), you don't need to make hair detailed at all, just some shade and a few light spots works.

This method of doing clothing is incredibly cute, and really hard to evaluate, because you leave most to the imagination of the viewer. I don't really have much advice, pick two colors to make the "main body" of the clothes and pick different color if you want to make some details (like the hand on this one).

Having an outline ready really helps at this point. It makes you visualize how much space you need to fill.

Yea, it's not perfect, I still suck at clothes, but it's decent enough.

The tail is also really simple, outline and then filling, later shading. Don't worry about getting the perfect shape, you will see the problems during the shading process.

Final piece, background helps as always (I still don't know why).
Thank you for lasting this year with me, it was crazy, but such is life.
We are still fighting for what we believe in, and that's the most important thing we can do.
Like I believed in you, year ago, I still believe in you! You got this!
See you!
