#44 Dress yourself!

I wonder if this pun will actually work, but anyway.
Hallo! (This is not a typo, I intended to say exactly this).
Today is the first post of learning how to pixel cloths. My list of things I have to practice is big enough to cause deforestation if anyone would try to print it.

The process is quite simple and requires awful precision at the same time. For example, I fucked up the proportions on this one completely, and later it was really hard to fix (that's why the head is so tiny btw).

Generally, you just have to use shaded right. I have no idea how, I was looking at the model. All the pixels I saw researching were looking pretty similar, so I guess you just have to do it a few times to learn it, and then it's natural.

The vertical lines are incredibly important. You have to find the right angle for them, if not, they will destroy the illusion.

It was mainly the dress practice, so I didn't pay much attention to the rest, but I'm still so salty about the skin color. I always find this amazingly shaded pixels, and they all use some sort of pink/red shade. But I can never recreate it.

This is the final piece.
I will have to do a lot more of them, with different styles and cloths types... and proportions.
I'm looking at people for my whole life, and somehow I don't know how big is the human head.
Thank you for reading this short post. I promise next one will be much bugger, it's around time to do another background, and they take sooooo much time. You will be begging for another post like this.
