#42 Nice to Eat You

Lately, I have so much to do. Well, that's a lie. I have to do only one thing, but it takes so much time and I don't want to do it so much... The constant pressure, the Damocles sword, it makes me crazy. I'm so tired of the stress that I waste most time in which I could work on it.
It's important to find a moment of peace, and to understand that the only thing that ends your life is, well... death. You will get a second chance, so just do your best and if you will succeed, great, if not, there was nothing more you could do. You will get it next time. I believe in you!

First, the sketch to fill. I really like using standing out colors to mark certain parts (like the leg on this one), even if they will not make it to the final cut (colors, I mean, the leg is kinda crucial).

Lesson: if you are working on something that you look at, from an angle, get some big and easy to make part that will serve as a reference to the rest.
Like the mouth on the screen. It was much easier to set the angles right by just looking at it.

All parts are on its places, time to fill him.

Always start from the main body color and go from there.

The first light spot and shade are incredibly important, you will have to follow them for the rest of the drawing (or just freestyle it, like me [don't be like me]).

Just a simple lighter stain and darker behind it makes a giant difference.

At the end, I finally decided to outline him. I'm trying to avoid that, and learn some techs, but here it was calling for it!

Final piece.
It was so hard to start it. Don't let your failures, convince you that it's not worth for trying. Every effort matters, and every step is the most important.
Thank you for reading. You can do it!
